Project Brum Co-Odinator: Emma

I am 22 years old and have been working with the Wellbeing Service for just over a year now. Originally in the Summer of 2015, I worked for a few months to gain some experience within the Data & Compliance team, but left to complete my final year at university. I graduated in September 2016, from the University of Wolverhampton, with a 2.1 in BA(Hons) in Creative and Professional Writing. After finishing university, I revisited the Wellbeing Service and back to the Data & Compliance team and have been here ever since.

When the idea of Project Brum first started to come together, it seemed to move so slow, with the other students/mentors coming together with the head of the service, but then suddenly we had 50 applications by the end deadline and we were doing interviews and the project came into full swing. Coming together to create this Summer work placement/internship has been a challenge, but fun and I look forward to working with the students in the Summer.
